FOLLOW MY JOURNEY

Thank you for your interest in my recovery mission! I am a 31 year old from Milwaukee, WI, and I was in a horrible motorcycle accident in May 2023. Before the accident, I went from running with my dog, biking, hiking, and working on my vehicles every day to being in a constant state of recovery, having to shift my focus to physical therapy, exercise, and nutrition. Seemingly everything has changed.

I have been struck by the similarities of my new daily struggles to those of astronauts on their missions in space. If you do a quick Google search for "how does an astronaut _____," almost all of the top search results are eerily relevant to how I have had to relearn my daily life.

I setup this merchandise page to help my ongoing efforts towards getting back on my feet, and eventually learning to walk again, just like astronauts have to do after their eventual return to Earth. I am working towards the opportunity to purchase an exoskeleton, which currently has a very slim chance it will be covered by insurance. You can read more about it here!
